Formed in Linköping, Sweden in 2012, Nekrokraft delivers melodic blackened metal rooted in thrash and sharpened with a modern extreme edge. Combining elements of black metal, death metal and classic thrash, the band creates a dark and atmospheric sound driven by razor-edged riffs, relentless aggression and powerful melodies. Inspired by acts such as Bathory, Immortal, Kreator and Dissection, their lyrical themes revolve around occultism, darkness, folklore and ancient mythologies.
With three albums released, multiple European tours, festival appearances and numerous club shows performed over more than a decade, Nekrokraft has firmly claimed its place within the Swedish blackened metal scene. The band has released several albums, the mini-album Will o’ Wisp (2016), followed by Servants (2018) and the Witches Funeral compilation. They have appeared at major festivals such as Sweden Rock Festival and Gefle Metal Festival and have toured Europe extensively.
In 2016, vocalist Angus Norder was recruited by Swedish blackened thrash legends Witchery, further strengthening the band’s reputation within the extreme metal community. Known for their intense, high-energy live performances marked by potent vocals and commanding stage presence, Nekrokraft continues to expand its reach with new material and relentless live assaults.
