Hailing from the far north of Sweden, Haradrim is a blackened death metal band heavily inspired by the crust and hardcore scene of their hometown Umeå. The band formed during late 2021 and released their first demo in May of 2022. Haradrim is based around the core trio of Anton Palmborg, Dennis Sjögren and Isak Nilsson.
Having spent nearly two years writing their debut album, Death of Idols, it was finally recorded in the summer of 2022 at Lillhuset productions by Andreas Gren who also mixed the album. The mastering was done by the almighty Dan Swanö at Unisound. Haradrim joined forces with Trust No One Recordings and EAT Heavy Records to release Death of Idols on June 23 2023.
The band’s debut album Death of idols with its mix between melodies, blast beast and d-beat has been praised by critics like Sweden Rock Magazine and Aftonbladet just to name a few. The band is currently recording their sophomore album promising a hard hitting follow-up to Death of Idols.
Haradrim delivers an aggressive live show that always leaves you wanting more. Although they have only played around ten gigs, the band’s tight and fast-paced performance clearly shows that the musicians are seasoned and ready to take over every stage they step onto.
